Look at What I Did...

I think this picture sucks, but it captures it enough. So, yup...I did it, I got another tattoo.

Thanks to my friend Britt (the one from the Katy Perry pics) for the absolute best birthday gift ever (which is in two weeks).

  3. I always said two tatts was enough for me, but...

When I get my first novel pubbed, maybe I'll get the title font on my shoulder or my hip. Depends. My job is pretty conservative, but if I can support myself on my writing alone, then who cares, right?

    happy belated!

  4. Tina - Indeed!

    Kristen - Do it!

    Anita - Thanks for understanding.

Tere - I have no limit, but I have only planned for the next two. I might stop at four...who knows. Thanks for stopping by and good luck with your book!!

  5. Very cool and different, Jon! What is your other tattoo of? Did it hurt?

  6. Kelly - My other tattoo is a pentagon, to signify the unity of me and my four siblings. And yes, it hurt, but not much. When the tattoo gun went over the veins on my arm, it hurt real good.

  9. As a teacher, I've always been careful not to let my tattoos show at work, so mine are all places that can be easily covered by career-wear (although then I show up at a beach and at least 2 are visible, but hey, I'm not working). Glad you're happy with yours and that it means something special!

  10. M - :D

Erica - Thanks! I was nervous about getting it so low on my arm, but when I teach, I wear long-sleeve button downs.

  11. Kudos on the ink.
I remain un-tatted. Mr. Cate has many, but his sister has a whole sleeve. Be careful, those things seem to multiply.
